Pope Benedict XVI sent his first tweet ever via an iPad 2.  The successor to St. Peter also launched a new website news.va ahead of World Youth Day in a little over a month.

news.va seems like a very user friendly site unlike vatican.va  which is stuck back in 1998.  Hopefully the Holy Father will keep the movement towards a more user friendly website for his flock.
